Price-to-performance audits and footprint optimization in tiny kitchens
About
Lives in a studio with a galley kitchen; hunts compact gear that punches above its price. Tracks warranty, parts availability, and resale.
Background
In our 400-square-foot place, counter space is sacred. I learned to batch-cook purees in a rice cooker, then blitz quietly with a stick blender while the baby slept. One tool replaced three, and cleanup meant one cup. Since then, I evaluate every gadget by what it replaces.
Perspective
I favor durable, multi-use tools that replace single-purpose gadgets.
